Spoilers The Walking Dead Season 10

Totally random, but watching old series and just started up Sliders. In the episode El Sid, you’ve got a younger Jeffrey Dean Morgan in a black biker jacket that looks a lot like Negan’s. No bats, but couple of them were missing it up with lumber and dowels at the start... :)

Does any know when Season 10 should show up on Netflix? I only saw the first half of the season, and I'm getting frustrated that I haven't been able to see the rest of it yet. I missed it when it came back, and by the time I decided to go back to it, they had already pulled most of the episodes.

When do seasons usually go up on Netflix? If they wait until after the season finishes airing, then it likely won't be until after the finale airs, whenever that is.

Oh, I didn't realize they were going to air the finale later, I figured they were done until the next season starts.

The episode was nearly complete--in post production. They did announce that the finale would air at a later date. I don't think we have any information on the next season at this point.

None, besides the fact that writing is proceeding as normal. But filming the eleventh season has not started at all, nor is there a date planned to start filming. For the very understandable reason that it simply isn't safe to be out filming a TV show right now. Especially a show like this, where social distancing is not a thing that can happen in the average scene.

Fear the Walking Dead's in an even worse situation. They suspended filming of the sixth season partway through and have not restarted, nor are there any plans in place on when to restart for similar reasons.

This poses serious continuity issues with actors aging. For example, Cailey Fleming, who portrays Judith Grimes is 13, but at that age / growth, it will not be long before the appearance she had during season 10's production will be a thing of the past, so how will that be explained if the series takes, say, another year to return to production? Some might say recast the character, but Fleming was one of the best casting choices in this series' history, so losing her would be a significant blow to show.

I don't think it will be that long, a lot of places are already starting to allow filming, so it probably won't be more than few months before Atlanta is one of them.
Although at an age like 13, even a few months can bring about big changes, like if she goes throw a sudden growth spurt and ends up 6 inches taller.

I dunno ... maybe they can have all the characters wear masks and explain that it slows the spread of the walker virus. :nyah:

A second, more virulent outbreak of the Zombie virus could be an interesting development. Especially if it started to migrate to non-human species.

I wonder how the Coronapocalypse would have informed Fear The Walking Dead if it were being made now.

You might would see it so just touching zombies can make you sick so the need for guns or bow and arrows would be more needed. Also people would wear gloves and masks whenever zombies show up though it would be something around their necks than can just pull up whenever zombie is seen.

I imagine if it comes down to it, they'll just ignore Judith's rapid aging the way they ignored Carl's. After all, according to Robert Kirkman, the first eight seasons covers a span of two years or so, in which Carl ages almost eight years, physically.

It has nothing to do with whether or not filming is allowed by the state's government. According to Greg Nicotero, if it were just a matter of needing the permission of Georgia's government, they had it as soon as the state reopened. The show's production staff is intentionally refusing to film until such time as they feel it is safe to begin filming, and even then they're still going to leave the final approval to the various labour unions involved, as many other productions around the world are.

In all honesty, I think there's a very real possibility that season 11 won't premiere until fall 2021 at the earliest.

Oh, OK. I can be seeing especially cautious with shows that tend to be as physical as The Walking Dead is.

Yep, social distancing isn't really possible in those Walker hordes.

Ironically, Walking Dead and its spin-offs might actually be among the safer shows to film at the moment, aside from social distancing not being possible. After all, a good majority of the filming work is done outdoors where people are breathing fresh air as opposed to being indoors breathing recirculated air, which carries a greater risk of spreading the Corona.
