The Vampire Diaries - Season 3 - Discussion

Heh, Kosh, yeah, something happened regarding Klaus in this episode, either my expectations were lowered or he's doing better, or the writers are giving him more to work with, but, I too forgot in this episode how little I liked Klaus in the first half of the season.

This episode was decent, but, not a home run. Nothing wrong with a slow burn, though, as long as it's paid off.
 
Yep. It was just odd. Klaus annoyed me at first, but for the first time last night, I was more intrigued than annoyed. I have always thought the guy could act, (loved him on Master and Commander) but the character was as shallow as a bird bath.

I think they finally found a way to give Klaus depth.
 
"Our Town" Description

BIRTHDAYS AND GOOD-BYES — Although Caroline is in no mood to celebrate her 18th birthday, Elena, Bonnie and Matt surprise her with a small party in an unusual location. Damon and Stefan disagree on the best way to handle Klaus, and a reckless Stefan decides to test his theory by taking things to dangerous extremes. Bonnie is concerned when Elena tells her about Jeremy’s new plans. At a Founder’s meeting, Alaric once again runs into Dr. Fell, who is in the middle of an argument with her ex-boyfriend, the medical examiner (guest star David Colin Smith). Tyler refuses to go along with Klaus’ latest demand, and is surprised when Klaus seems to accept his decision.

okay my DVR missed the last 5 minutes of the show can some one tell me what happened after damon and elena got to her door?
 
Nothing...she said it wasn't right or whatever...there was a scene with Matt & Elena at the bridge which was sweet. :)

[edit] It is the same she doesn't want to cause she still has faith in Stefan or maybe she wants to do something with Damon and is afraid...but Damon wants her bad. :lol: I think it ended with finding the guy Dr Fell was arguing with dead in the woods and the Sheriff was talking to Damon about it.
 
Klaus telling Bonnie he thought about ending it all...umm...how could he even off himself?

so since Klaus saved carloine is she a hybrid now to or is she a still a normal vamp?

Normal vamp.

Only "natural born" werewolves can become hybrids (and only survive the process with the doppleganger's, Elena's, blood). Not sure about those who are from werewolf blood line that haven't killed someone (which is what triggers the full moon werewolf curse).

I wonder why Klaus gave her that bracelet? I think the writers are trying to make us feel something for him as a character. What he said to Caroline indicates to me that they are trying to give him more depth.

I wonder why when Bonnie dreams of the 4th casket, it is Klaus clutching his mother's necklace? Was Klaus a twin and one became a witch? We know that Elijah is in one of the boxes, and there are three more.

From the ep I took it that Rebecca was the only daughter and the rest of the children were male.

What is behind door number 3 or casket number 4 as the case may be?

Yay! Elijah!!! That was it...this ep was pretty boring. :sigh:

I hate we have to wait till Feb 2nd until it returns. :(
