The unofficial Rock Band thread.

Just heard there'll be an Alice Cooper track pack - six songs apparently. Alice has a contest going on now at his website for it. But only 360 or PS3... I wish they'd put some of those track packs into a disk for us PS2 users! Just because I don't feel like spending 350-400 for a game unit doesn't mean I should be totally ignored! I'll even buy the track packs that PS3 users get for free!

Alice Cooper was a couple weeks ago. They've released a couple of expansion discs for PS2. I think there's "Track Pack vols 1 and 2" and "Classic Rock". The Country Pack is also coming for PS2, I believe.

Does anybody know what time updates show up on the PSN? I'm stoked for Iron Maiden and it doesn't seem to be up yet...

That's a buy for me.

I'm torn on it... The problem with Evanescence is that aside from the vocals, there really isn't anything to the rest of the band.

I prefer to play songs I enjoy over ones that I don't but are more of a challenge.

Plus, this is a full band game, no reason why they shouldn't release packs of songs that are a challenge for singers ahead of guitarists and drummers.

Which I understand, but personally, I get far less use out of vocals than any other aspect of the game. I only pull the microphone out when friends are over.
