Bale can definitely capture Pacino’s scenery-chewing energy from the first film. I think Leo would’ve been better in the DeNiro role and Austin Butler as Kilmer/Chris. I guess I can just about accept Leo as Chris but, even as a big fan of Stephen Graham, I can’t in a million years imagine him in the DeNiro role!
