The unnecessary reboot/remake of the week thread

Oh maybe. I didn't even remember who was in it.
I only really remember because this was the only movie playing at the right time for the kids to get my wife out of the house while we set up a surprise birthday party. She couldn't figure out why two teenaged girls wanted to see a terrible Tim Allen/John Travolta biker comedy.

I mean, it has its moments, but I think the best thing about it would be the unlikely pairing between the 4 of them. The movie itself felt tired and derivative even when it had come out.

Apparently they're trying to make a live-action remake of the "Gargoyles" cartoon, which I have never watched but have been exposed to due to my Dad really liking it. From this exposure to it, from how bad I know recent live-action remakes of old cartoons tend to be, and from just intuition I have a sense that this live-action remake is going to be trash.
Not that I'll ever know, because I don't plan on watching it.

I don't know - the 1972 'made for tv' movie had pretty good effects for its time.
