The title of the new series

Would never make it to the movie theater promo posters, in the US.

Might make it to the promotional Diet Coke Minimum $50 Purchase Commerative Collectible Limited Edition NC-17 Non-Refillable Drink Cups.

Star Trekkin'
across the universe

The premise will be about them boldly going forward, on the Enterprise. Kirk will in charge. Klingons will make an appearance baring 045 mark 0. There will be issues with the ship travelling backwards.

There's been a leak of the pilot:

I like the position they took with Enterprise, initially calling it that because it says Star Trek without having it in the title. From Kirk and Picard's opening narration, some key phrases that stand out for me:

To Boldly Go...
Where No One Has Gone Before...
The Final Frontier...
These Are The Voyages...

Despite some of those being used as episode titles and a movie subtitle in the past, they are still famously associated with the brand. I wouldn't mind a new Trek series having those in or be their titles.

To Boldly Go is the one major part of that speech not used as a title.

Star Trek: Starbase 10 - the long lost adventures of Commodore Stocker

I know they said there would be a ship but Stocker was an exciting character. There is already a catchphrase "Let's see us then - at starbase 10"

They'd do what they did with that William Shatner show a couple years back, and call it "Let's F@$% Up Romulus!" on official merchandise.

Although, "Let's F@$% Up Romulus!" might be too much of an allusion to Star Trek Nemesis or Star Trek 2009.

CSI: Star Trek, or Law and Order: Star Trek or NCIS: Star Trek.

(This feels quite weird in my mouth)

Star Trek: The Flexed Generation.

In all seriousness, I think Star Trek Returns is a pretty decent title. I'd rather have a colon in there (after all the only films without colons such as Generations, Nemesis and Into Darkness just so happen to be some of the most criticised in the franchise), or neither and just simply call it Star Trek, but out of the subtitled names I've seen suggested, Returns actually sounds good.

It's welcoming to newcomers, and easy to differentiate from other Trek shows, which is my only concern in not giving it a subtitle. I'd like to be able to talk to other people about it and not constantly have to call it "the new Star Trek" to avoid confusion.

The next obvious step is Cockney Trek of course.
