I like the design but I still think the nacelles are too big when compared to the rest of the ship. Since it's a refit maybe you could justify smaller nacelles by the fact that more advanced tech allows for smaller nacelles to do the same job as the older, larger ones.

Put me down for a third vote in that category. Looks good overall, but it just feels like the nacelles are maybe 110-115% larger than they should be... I think it would be more balanced (especially in the profile view) if they were just a tad smaller. IMO, of course.

Looks good! regarding the nacelles though; I dunno, they're obviously BIG, but I'm not sure if that's what's throwing it for me. I think if you look at the "JJprise" and the TMP enterprise especially most of the visual weight is above the "waterline" of the nacelle. this kind of gives a sense of the nacelle being "thrown forward", whereas your engine has most of the weight at the bottom, which makes it sort of swept back, and to me at least throws it off balance. I'd almost like to see what they look like flipped upside down. but like I said, it's a good looking ship otherwise!

Thanks for all the comments, guys. I decided to trim down the nacelles a bit... they're still about the same length, but not as fat. I think they do look better like that.

Going to add the intakes in the front, and fins on it, tomorrow.

He'd have to CGI you up a tree first.

The ship is looking even better (who'd a thunk it possible) with the new nacelles. Much more balanced with the small change.

Read though this whole thread and I have to agree that the last version with the redone nacelles looks best. The original JJprise nacelles are just too big compared to the rest of the ship; and the secondary hull was too small.

I never minded the actual shape of the nacelles on the JJPrise, I just thought they looked too big.
