Both seemed to be unaware of how humans even interact on the most basic levels.
I don't think you watched the movie. You are describing them as if they had autism. They both knew what kissing was and how to do it etc...Both seemed to be unaware of how humans even interact on the most basic levels.
I saw the movies multiple times. I know what I saw.I don't think you watched the movie. You are describing them as if they had autism. They both knew what kissing was and how to do it etc...
Awkward would be if he leaned in and she didn't also lean in or vice versa. He was just nervous, but I don't think the scene is or the romance is nearly as odd or poor as people pretend.
Meesa no think so.I saw the movies multiple times. I know what I saw.
Life must be so simple when you refuse to tax your mind with critical thought, evaluation or the opinions of others. Just plow straight ahead and dismiss everything else without any thought. Don't even debate it, just assume you're right and everyone else is wrong.
No?By that logic The Room is the greatest work of work conceived by the human race. Tommy Wiseau is a true genius. Citizen Kane is a piece of shit, Wells can go fuck himself.
You yourself just mentioned The Room though. You're even defending the most cringeworthy romance in film history.
An as for them being flawed, no doubt. The difference being I don't find them any more flawed than any of GL's other great films. Or RotJ. ESB is slicker than a Lucas film (though one has to wonder how much of the goes to the diretor when you look at the rest of his filmography), and TFA is a bad pastiche. No I'm mocking you. You're choosing to be a contrarian for a trilogy that even the most valiant defender will say are flawed at best. You're even defending the most cringeworthy romance in film history.
I'm just ignoring the mob mentality of everyone else who thinks it's the worst film ever made. You must not have seen the movie, it's art.You yourself just mentioned The Room though.
I already explained that that isn't what I meant. I explained very clearly what I meant, and even provided an example.I'm just ignoring the mob mentality of everyone else who thinks it's the worst film ever made. You must not have seen the movie, it's art.

Well then, allow me to reiterate-Meesa no think so.
Are you basing this on the Plinkett reviews of the TNG movies and nothing else?Well then, allow me to reiterate-
What I am saying is something like people complaining about the Picard photo in Nemesis and citing that as evidence the filmmakers are lazy/disrespectful, but not caring about Khan acting like he knew Chekov (or was is vice versa?) when he wasn't on the show during Space Seed.
Consensus breeds double standards.
Both are excellent though. Also Nemesis has a better score. The difference is that TWOK is a good movie and NEM isn't.
As much as I like NEM, no it's not excellent. It's an aping of Wrath of Khan, with characters behaving out of character, ridiculous villain plan, and a bottomless pit on a starship. The score cannot save that. Both are excellent though. Also Nemesis has a better score.
"I'm afraid you won't survive to with ten victory of the ECHO over the voice."
Characters behaving OOC is a feature of even Star Trek movies consensus has deemed good. Also, is you are fine with TFA being a carbon copy of ANH, NEM having TWOK parallels should be a non-issue.As much as I like NEM, no it's not excellent. Since the characters in TFA are different, and behave differently, and that TFA is not a carbon copy of ANH, I have no issue with either film.Characters behaving OOC is a feature of even Star Trek movies consensus has deemed good.
