It's been a while in coming, but there are new pictures of La Mulgrew in two separate roles: Laura Keene in "Our Leading Lady," and the mother in "The Black Donnellys."
For those of you not familiar with Civil War era history, Laura Keene was the lead actress in "Our American Cousin," which President Lincoln attended at Ford's Theater the night he was shot there by John Wilkes Booth. "Our Leading Lady" is the story of Laura Keene and the events surrounding the assassination and its aftereffects.
Totally Kate has very thorough coverage , including photos, reviews from the press, fan reviews, articles and a link to the show's official web page, There is a also background interview with the playwright, Charles Busch, that was featured on Broadway.com.
"The Black Donnellys" is a show about four Irish working class brothers in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood in Manhattan, who are involved in organized crime. There's a background article here, and Totally Kate has several pages of screen captures here and here, along with an official "Donnellys" page that has links to watch the episodes online. Kate plays Helen Donnelly, mother to the boys.
Those of you who prefer our dear Kate as a redhead (
) will appreciate the "Our Leading Lady" photos, and "The Black Donnellys" is for those of you who like her with darker hair.

I don't know if this has been posted or not, because I'm certainly not going through 25 pages to find out. However, just in case it hasn't...
I was on Audible today, listening to a clip of "Tea at Five," being read by Kate Mulgrew (which I will purchase one of these days). I thought the cover of the book was just lovely, and thought of your thread.

Edit #2 It's a pitty that it's an audio book and not a DVD, but it'll be great anyway. The clip was certainly enjoyable. It's odd that it went up three dollars between the first time I opened the link and when I went back for the picture, though. Perhaps it was because I accessed it through Amazon the first time.

I love the "Our Leading Lady" photos. So. Much. The long, curled red hair and big poofy dresses just compliment Kate so well. I believe there's a fair bit of ego in some of those facial expressions, hmm?

btw - Iphigenia 2.0 is a terrific piece of theatre. It's been held over till Oct. 7th. If you can make it to NYC I highly recommend it.
