That video of the E-D saucer being retrieved, holy lord! That was so cinematic and so beautiful. I honestly feel very lucky to have watched this.

If you go by Memory Alpha timeline (which I don't really), the Nexus gobbled Kirk in 2293. If it occurs every ~39 years, then the previous Nexus event occurred in 2254: while both Spock and Colt were serving on Pike's Enterprise. This is probably the memory connection; perhaps, they were gobbled up too, but returned to their original timeline. Just spitballing.

@Jules / OTOY I noticed today that the link for the bridge walk-throughs now just redirects to the main page of Roddenberry.com, and there's nothing on that website that points back to the Archive. Will these be available again soon? I've really enjoyed "walking around" all of them, it seemed like I found something new each time I played with the site.
That's a shame (for now), but I can't wait to see what you guys come up with next!

Two questions....top row, third from the right (Enterprise 2244)....what was its provenance?
Even more intriguing is the one on the bottom---far left corner (The Star Trek)
That one is shades of John Berkey---where did that one come from?

I'm going to guess that the blue nacelle caps is from the comic series and the scifi-cover version on bottom-left corner is from a novel.
That one is from the Chinese bootleg comic adaptation of The Motion Picture. The ship design is actually stolen from a Boris Vallejo painting.
