Spoilers The Ready Room: Interview with new showrunner Michelle Paradise

Fun watch. I’m still wrapping my head around the fact that Naomi Kyle hosts this now, lol. I saw her in so many IGN videos back in the day. Sweet gig.

Michelle Paradise seems rather warm and likable. It’s always good to see a showrunner demonstrate genuine enthusiasm!

I could listen to Michelle all day. She is very smart, animated, witty, passionate.

I knew it. I was right about the last episode being split into two halves because it was so big. I love the scope of "Such Sweet Sorrow". I'm still toward the beginning of watching, but Michelle Paradise looks to be a great showrunner.

Disco is in good hands. And I can't wait to Star Trek in the Fourth Millennium.

I really like that her favorite 'Trek' series is TOS. <---- Given she's running a show set near that time period; it's nice to know she likes said time period. ;)

(And yes, I know about the rumor of what the third season will involve - but at some point, I have to think..."They'll be back..." ;).)

I like that her fave moments are character based ones. That bodes well.
Yes, and I think she said that the character stuff was one of the main reasons for splitting episode 13 in two. In one hour form, we may never have gotten the good bye scenes, or that very funny brain storming meeting in which we find out that even in a situation where there are no bad ideas...there are some bad ideas. :D

If, after seeing the season finale, I think this season was better than season 1, I'm pretty sure the reason will be because of an even greater emphasis on character.
