The Photoshop Thread, Part V

Speaking of "deltas"

Somebody needs to do a photoshop fix for "Tomorrow is Yesterday" with a F-106 i9nstead of the F-104. I don't think an F-104 ever carried an air-to-air nuke--but I could be wrong:

https://forum.keypublishing.com/forum/modern-military-aviation/86655-f-104s-in-star-trek

The F-106 could self land--even without a computer ;)

I'll see what I can do. Early attempts showed zero realism to have both craft on screen simultaneously without scaling... (keeping in mind this is a sci-fi show, ha! :D ) Scaling the F-106 down to proper size makes it really teensy-weensy but I'm as persistent as the Bubonic Plague, circa 1900 anyways...

According to Wikipedia, F-104's could do so, but didn't in active service: "Early Starfighters were also capable of carrying and launching a single MB-1 (AIR-2A Genie) rocket-powered nuclear missile using an extending trapeze launcher. This configuration was tested on a single aircraft but was not adopted for service use; however, NASA later used it for launching test rockets.[41]"

Inspired by these comments:

You can lump in Turkana IV to this list. Still a ruined waste during TNG first season. The Federation turned their back and did nothing to help those poor people. And they were Federation citizens!

^ No, Turkana IV declared independence and seceded from the Federation.

...Which put an end to the Federation-era misery of rape gangs and whatnot.

Really, the timeline of "Legacy" suggests the Cadres were a vast improvement over Federation rule.

Timo Saloniemi

Maybe not exactly, but they clearly wanted to be left alone

Captain's log, supplemental. We are in orbit above Turkana Four, an Earth colony that severed relations with the Federation nearly fifteen years ago.

No, a small number of thugs basically kidnapped an entire colony of people, and the Federation let them do it.

I give you:

Worf: "Annnddd ... one. And one. And one. And one. And one..."

Might be worse. Had "Doctor Who" an even smaller budget, there's the console going up and down. Since NuWHO anthropomorphized the thing a few years ago, now it's even easier should the next season really want to redo that set... literally.

I had no idea where to put this "meme" but thought it was probably photoshopped and could go here?

Star Wars vs. Star Trek, directed by Rian Johnson (2028), starring Chris Pine, Adam Driver, Sonequa Martin-Green, Pedro Pascal, John Cho, Andy Serkis, Jerry O'Connell, and featuring the voices of Frank Oz and Jeri Ryan.

Well, I haven't posted in one of these threads in a while, so here are some things I had been working on recently. These are images of my studio scale replica of the 33 inch Enterprise inserted into images of the original model (except the first one, which is just one I really like of the model).

These were made as part of a series of calendar desktop images I made for myself using models I've made.
