Could be named after this guy, a pioneer physicist in the field of electrical engineering and manipulation.
A mashup between Trek and the movie "Cats" . The major objection here should be that we have been reminded that the movie "Cats" exists.
This would have been an interesting show! Dreadnought would have been the RTF’s WMD against the Borg or Krenim or...? The Cardassians you’d never know if they were going to stick by you in a fight or make a tactical withdrawal to save their own hides. The Klingons might try to conquer a local people or use excessive force forcing Janeway to have some of the same problems as generations Of Federation diplomats from Sarek to Jaresh-Inyo (and how would they interact with the Klingons?!). And these Maquis maybe not fully integrating with the crew, never trusting the Cardassians they’re trying to befriend.
Yeah I think this would be good as a short story or something. I was basically throwing all the Alpha Quadrant ships that I could think of that ended up in Delta all together in one shot. The Klingon ship is meant to be the one from Prophecy. I don't think you could have this many ships for a TV series, especially Dreadnought which I reckon would have lasted half a season before it gets deployed on someone in the season finale. I do like a bunch of fan ideas where people wondered about a Romulan or Cardassian crew being integrated with Voyager instead of Maquis. Watching Voyager in the 90s I was so stoked to see the ship still Borgified in The Gift and then bummed out when it's gone in Day of Honor. I would have loved that to have stuck around for a bit too. EDIT: BOOOO. I just realised I forgot one super obvious AQ ship! *ahem*
