It's been quite a year, guys and gals. From complaining about crappy packaging, boring CG menu models, discussing the stupidity of Best Buy and their forgetfulness regarding the season 4 bonus disc to the good times: remembering all of our friends that we can only visit in the pages of the relaunch (I hope everyone's read Unity )and see them on the screen through all of their adventures that we were able to share. Not to mention knowing that we got a lot better looking packaging than Voyager's Pastels of the Delta Quadrant scheme. Let's raise our glasses.

To the tenth anniversary of the best Star Trek series ever... and to being able to watch all of Deep Space Nine in its unabashed glory. Cheers!

An idea for next year when we all have the series' full run:
What about making themed DS9 weeks. So for example we have a 'Kai Winn week' where we choose the bests episodes about Kai Winn and all watch those eps that week.

Just a thought.

This is a really good idea, actually! I think it might be really fun to discuss the arcs of the specific characters....talk about their development over the course of the show, etc.

We'll have to work on developing this idea!

I'll tip back a glass of kanar in toasting DS9, but I'd just as soon skip the Vic Fontaine music. Hard to believe we're done getting the DVDs. Season one came out back on Feb. 26th, but it seems like it was just a short time ago.

Isn't 'good Klingon food' one of those phrases like 'friendly fire' or 'military intelligence'?

But I digress. Mine's a '47 kanar, with a fish on a stick in it, while I sit unobtrusively in a corner and observe the effects of the fourteenth spice I slipped in the gagh while you weren't looking.

Anyhow, my bottle of Kanar beats out any of you little peoples'. Vintage of 2151 (well over 200 years old!), and it's been sent through Gul Smane's time honored filtration process to rid it of any mold fuzzballs.
