Big Orange? The board never used to be orange, did it? Was it a Halloween overlay or something?

I never understood what the big deal was. I mean, it's just a color switch, and, as colors go, this isn't a bad design. I mean, they could have kept that gawd awful Halloween design.

The gray was horrid. I know it hurt the hell out of my eyes at the time reading the boards. I love the far greater "big blue" design myself.
That was also a far more... heated time on the board. Posters these days are down right subdued compared to then. All the sub fora were hostile to one another, like mentioning ridged klingons in TOS (I personally got a shellacking for that one the first time I reg'd in late '00), or complain about janeway in the Voy forum. And anything changed board wise would set them off, and if it was changes to The Zone, watch out for the shitstorm in MA/QSF.
That was always fun to watch, as TNZ'ers took turns to keep the protest threads active 24/7.

I didn't quit, but my posting decreased dramatically when the switch happened. Then we got the option to make it blue again, and suddenly I started posting a whole lot more.
I find the grey boring and hard to read.
Yet another fan of the big blue. Switched as soon as it was announced.
The blue simply "felt" like the Trekbbs while the Grey doesn't. Glad they brought it back.

I don't see what the big deal is about blue vs. grey. I quite like the grey, but do switch to Big Blue once in a --wait for it-- blue moon.
