The screenshot comparison alone sells the worth of this project to me.
About 40 seconds of new footage were added to the end of the Trailer with old/new comparisons.

And somebody already did a screenshots comparison between DVD and one of the trailerscence.

Still nothing like as clear as the HD version though - I can see far more detail than I can on my PAL DVD - and the colour palate is much less vibrant as well.
As I suspected, the DVD screencap from The Inner Light has been blurred to make it look worse. I have made an identical screenshot from my DVD which is slightly smaller, but it's far clearer.
Ha - the one day I take a break this comes out!
Here's the video on youtube to view in 720p if StarTrek.com starts lagging again:

HD Screenshots from the trailer now up at http://tng.trekcore.com/bluray/
More soon!
You should bear in mind that at the end of the day, you're still just looking at a flv file. The quality is nowhere near what it'll be on the real deal.I probably get shot down for this but watching the trailer at 720p in full screen, that BR footage of Picard and Q from Farpoint is just plain nasty. Look at Patrick Stewart's neck to see what I mean.
