The Night Crew

Eek. For that thing i got a 99 on i got invited to do internationally.
Really? Are you pulling our legs? What subject was it?

I wonder, can one score such high grades in America on literary/arts subjects, as for an essay?

It was so frustrating in French high school already to have no chance to score higher than 16/20 (kind of an unwritten rule) when students of science could get 20/20.

In prep and college, it got worse. I was congratulated by my philosophy teacher when I scored a 10/20. We had 3 essays in class. I scored 9, then 10, then 11. She said it was quite an achievement. Those grading rules are stupid. They're meant to make you try to improve, but they just thwart you.

And the school/university, school board, and state/province.

That's why we have SAT's and GRE's, etc. Well, I'm not sure there's an equivalent to the SAT in Canada. Hasu would know.

It was on a strategic management simulation. We 'manage' a shoe company and compete against other companies in the industry, aka 9 other classmates, in an attempt to meet an exceed our investors expectations. It's kind of fun in a sadistic way.

And no, I'm not pulling you leg ;)

As for the SAT's I dont think there is an equivalent but we do have the option of taking them here if for whatever reason some bizarre school wanted it or we were going down to the states for school

I do not understand what the problem is.

Pajamas. Sleepwear. The clothes that you wear when you go to bed.

No, but it has been in the single digit temperatures here in Illinois the last few days.

I hate sleeping naked.

Jule - some people feel more "cozy" in PJ's, despite the temperature.. I know my wife does.. although in summer, she'll sleep in PJ's only but rock the topless look.

I love summer.

I'd feel like being tied up if i wore anything while sleeping, is what Im saying; and I have had between 9º and 13º C in my bedroom the last coupel of weeks -cozynes is what I have a duvet for (for lack of a person under it with me alas)

ETA: if i'm babbeling it's because of the drink! -yeah that' smy story, had a few this night :)
