The Night Crew

I used to have a rule that the new day didn't start until I went to bed and woke up. Based on that rule, and taking into account all the all-nighters I pulled while in college, it is currently still the middle of August.
Ah! Great minds think alike, for this is my rule as well! -- Though if I follow it as strictly as you do then it is still somewhere in 2005 for me.

Me too. I don't care if it's 10am on Friday. If I haven't slept since Wednesday, it's Wednesday for me. Though I haven't got as far to catch up as you do. I'm hanging about January or so.

I think I am the only person under the age of 55 who loves cottage cheese.

I love cottage cheese. :)

The fattier the better. And it goes great with pineapple.

Try some chives. I swear by cottage cheese with chives mixed in.

Other than that, right on!

Sometimes lunch for me will consist of about half a pound of straight cottage cheese. I also love it on salad.

There's nothing quite like hanging out with 2 babies at 1am. It's actually perfect. They wake up to eat, and then they have just enough energy to play for a little while before they get really tired again and pass out.

I had just the most lovely day. My new pal Nicole and I got up at noon, went down to the East Village to drink tea and have a good game of Scrabble, hit up a boutique and a millinery (where she got a fab Betty Page dress with a black pencil skirt and a black bodice with multi-colored polka dots, and a blue and brown loosely knitted cowl-necked sweater, and I bought a 20's style plum colored knee-length evening dress and an amazing black sequins beret!), then we had a slice-a at a hole-in-the-wall pizzeria (I had chicken Ceasar salad pizza -- how fab is that?), and walked home over the Williamsburg Bridge (a good hour and a half constitutional). Then, we ate salads and chocolate and marathoned Doctor Who. What a lovely day.

That does sound like a really great day, TSQ.

I want to go to a millinery! And all that other stuff!

I'm here. I don't have a whole lot going on. Finishing up some laundry before bed. My dad is visiting me tomorrow, so I need to try and get some sleep.
