Finally let myself come in here, 1 am out in California and I have no need to be up before noon, so behold my nocturnal meanderings.

Currently dying my hair to take out the yellow from a bleach job that underestimated how much red is in my hair. Was aiming for a medium ash blond and ended up pale custard yellow.

They're also there to protect a pretty vulnerable and important part of your body. I noticed that one time when I used a kitchen knife that was sharper than I was used to and my nail prevented most of the tip of my finger from coming off.

I was just about to post. I'm chillin, on call as usual. What's shakin with you guys?

I just went out with one of my friends. We went to a new bar. We were the only ones there, but the bartender was a cool guy. I had a Fat Tire tallboy. We were just able to get Fat Tire in Illinois just a few weeks ago, and it was delicious.

Now I'm watching B5 (only 5 episodes left until I'm done!), and I'm cooking some Pizza Rolls because they are the closest thing to food I have in my apartment right now.

iTunes 8 is out. It has a feature called Genius which (once you've opted in as it sends data on your library to Apple) first recommends music from the store you might like but also allows you to select an individual track and make a playlist of 25, 50 or 100 tracks similar to that song.

It will improve as time goes on, making the matching better.

There's also a new additional library view which looks very nice and works well (it'll be immediately familiar if you've used iPhoto '08) and a gorgeous new visualiser.

Oh, and they've added HD versions of TV shows on the store.

^There's new firmware out this week for the iPod Touch and the iPhone if anyone's got them as well.

I'm rather impressed with the fact that Genius will be on the iPod Touch and iPhone as well.

I've tried Genius, it doesn't like Soundtracks very much and apparently it will not work with Beatles tracks in particular but other than that it works really well.
