1:06AM...just got home from work. I switched shifts with someone tomorrow, so I've got to be back at work in less than 8 hours. But at least I'll get off early tomorrow afternoon and will have the night to do what I want.

Of course, I didn't actually end up going to sleep. I took some pictures at work today with my cellphone and when I was transferring them to my computer, I realized I had a whole backlog of photos going all of the way back to February. I'd forgotten about them because I've been using my real camera all summer. Anyway, so I just spent way too much time putting them on Facebook. Maybe I'll post a couple in the pictures thread.

I really need to start taking more pictures. I used to be a camera fiend about 5 years ago, but I started getting lazy. I need to get back in the habit. It was fun.

Yeah, I stopped using mine for awhile and just used the cellphone. Picked it back up in the spring and have been loving it.

I "upgraded" to a new digital camera a couple years ago, but I've found I just don't like it as much as my old one. I prefer candid shots, so I like a camera that takes the pictures instantaneously. My current camera has about a 2-3 second delay, which doesn't sound like much, but it completely ruins candids. I like being able to whip out my camera, take the picture, and put my camera away with people going, "Where the hell did that flash come from?"

Honestly, I'm considering going back to disposable cameras. They did this best.

i had a digi-cam, but it was a cheap freebie one and was shit and when i didn't use it for a while, the batteries quit working and it quit working...

I have to set the aperture, shutter speed, and focus. Takes awhile but it's worth it even for candids, which I love too. I like to kind of sit in the background and catch the moments.

Actually, I guess that's true of everything I take. I'd post some but I don't want to post pictures of people without their permission.

Hi night people! I am awake, and bored, and in the mood for posting. But for some unknown and terrible reason my internet keeps blacking out!

Bah! My evening/night job is sort of set up so that when you're done you leave. So while sometimes I leave after six hours and still get paid eight, still being here after my eight hours still sucks.

My internet's been acting up for awhile. I keep having to move the wireless adapter back and forth across the top of my monitor to get a good enough signal
