The next generation crew after the season finale...

I can image that. They produced the movie so quickly, the didn't even have enough time for costume fitting. La Forge und Riker wore O'Briens/Siskos uniform, hence the folded sleeves.
Well they had another reason for that. They originally had designed NEW uniforms, which kinda looked like a combination of TOS Movies 2-6 uniforms and TNG uniforms... They had the division color torso and black shoulders of the TNG uniforms, but they had the shoulder flap of the TOS movie uniforms. The rank pips were placed at the corner of the flap. The collar of the uniform was the division color instead of black, and they had rank braiding on their sleeves like the TOS uniforms. They decided to ditch them at the last minute and borrowed uniforms instead.

That's luckily in the past. In the last fifteen years, Pocket Books have paid much attention to continuity in the books. With the Destiny-trilogy, it feels like one whole Star Trek-universe rather five different series.
Yeah, I'm so glad that the current writers actually pay attention to what the other writers are doing. It makes the stories a lot more detailed and in depth, because they have more of a past, and more of a RECENT past, than if they just had the series/movies plus one or two random events that the author makes up and then has to sit there and explain in order for the reader to get it. You are able to see what's going on in their lives in a much broader way and it really makes the stories and the characters seem much more complete and real. I like that a lot.

Yeah, I remember that too. Even the action figures had those uniforms and ... you know ... I thought they looked alright. A good crossover actually.

If I had been the action figure company, I would've sued Paramount for that. I mean, they only came up with a Data and a La Forge figure in time for the movie, didn't they? The other figures came after that.

Yup, Data and Geordi were out for the movie, Dr. Crusher came out in '97 I think, and they made a Picard however they sold it as if from DS9... they didn't make any of Riker though... He was the only other character to wear the Early DS9/Voyager uniform in the movie.

I've never seen these. Is there any artwork out there?

What happened to what was left of the crew after Nemesis?

You can read the following books:

1. Death in Winter
2. Resistance
3. Q&A
4. Before Dishonour
5. Greater Than The Sum
6. Destiny-trilogy
7. Losing The Pace (coming out this year)

i just recently bought all of these but q&a. and only reason i even bought the destiny trilogy is because the next gen cast is in it. i was going to avoid it cause i detest any ds9 characters in books i'm reading. and now that ezri (vomit) has a ship (wtf) they are even more irksome. if it was jadzia it'd be ok. still i hope the trilogy lives up to hopes, then i can replace ezri with jadzia as i'm reading the book.

I went looking for pictures when I first mentioned it but couldn't find any. I know I'd seen pictures before but I don't remember where. I'll look again.

EDIT: I guess I didn't look very hard last time. :rommie:

I always prefered the 2-6 uniforms...they looked more formal, less like pyjamas!

Same here. Those were perfect designs. However, I imagine it gets quite warm in them. Which might have been the designer's intention à la "space is cold". :-)

I figured the Generations happened a good nine months after All Good Things. even thou they had the DS9 nines and what would good on to be Voyagers uniforms.
