Could they not mount it via a hole in the bottom?
The fact that they don't put holes in their model is one of the best things about Eaglemoss ships.Could they not mount it via a hole in the bottom?
Accuracy or whateverThey don't do that with their models.
None of the Eaglemoss ships have plug in stands, they don't want to deface the model or whatever.
looks like the jiggler from adventure timeAndroid crewmember!

Understandable, but clips can break, plus, couldn't those clips scratch the model?
i’ve got about 30(?) eaglemoss ships, only one stand has broken and yeah it was the clips. however i much prefer the eaglemoss stands to an alternative that plugs in to the model itself, makes the product feel more complete, less toyish.Understandable, but clips can break, plus, couldn't those clips scratch the model?
Wicked design! I like it!Android crewmember!

Isn't that science silver plus the science globe icon on the badge? And an Engineer and a Lieutenant judging by the badge and uniform colouring.-
That actually doesn't seem to be a robot but someone with some sort of VR helmet.? so they have an android and this robot fellow too? https://i1.wp.com/www.tor.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/discovery-shenzhou-robot.jpg?type=vertical sounds like trouble will brew between these two.
Actually, I think the robot in your picture is on the Shenzou, on the side you can see that the first letter after the USS appears to be a S.? so they have an android and this robot fellow too? https://i1.wp.com/www.tor.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/discovery-shenzhou-robot.jpg?type=vertical sounds like trouble will brew between these two.
Very nice! Some angles work better than others, but overall I've really begun to appreciate the bold direction they are going with this. It's also interesting to see that they seem to have scaled up the bridge module compared to when we first saw the design, shrinking down the ship in the process.Hallmark put up a video announcing the Discovery as next year's ornament. Towards the end it has a couple renders from new angles.
Yeah, the angles are definitely making or breaking this model. Flat on, it's ok. But, it's a tough go.Very nice!
