OK, I've been trying to make my Enterprise more accurate.
I've rebuilt the windows, and did all the cuts under the Secondary Hull. I also tweak a bunch of textures, and smoothed out the neck. I'm not 100% happy with the neck, but I'm tired of fighting with it.
I made new nacelle cap textures, and updated my dish texture.
Now, I have to build the impulse engine, and the insides of the back of the Nacelle. I'm still not sure what I want to do about those large black areas on the bottom of the Nacelles; I had a glowing panel back there, but I decided I don't like that. I may have to re-build that section.

Not really. The engines are too far apart, and the impulse engine is too wide.
The neck is also pretty weird on that one, but it's weird anyway.

Looking good, MadMan. One of the things I really do like about this design is the bright color.
Unlike the Ent-E which looked a lot worse than it had to because of the crappy dark hull color. The E looked best in FC when they were still using the brighter looking miniature, imo.

Yeah, that's a great difference, I think. It makes it look really brand new.

Yep, that's what I'm using as reference right now.
Some of my shapes are going to be a little off, but I'm aiming to at least get all the detail right.
Still plugging away... It's slow at work today.
I think I'm getting close.

OK, I think this might be the first model I have actually 100% finished, and that I'm going to call complete.
The biggest difference now, is that he back of the Nacelles are closer to the right shape. They aren't perfect, but they are as close as I can get them. (I guess most of the ship is that way. )

I need some new wallpaper ideas... Does anyone have any especially good backgrounds that would look good as a backdrop? I'll give proper credit, of course.

I haven't seen an Enterprise yet that DIDN'T look good from this angle...
