ship that went off course

 

about twenty years earlier and

 

reported seeing a vessel of unknown origin.

 

They logged their sighting and

 

quickly forgot about it.

but the cargo freighter's sensors

 

didn't seem capable of such

 

complex scans given the antiquated

 

devices they had. So they

 

ran the best scans they

 

could, then gathered around the

 

freighter's bridge to study the
