) well, ive been meaning to learn photoshop again ever since cs5 came out. but i've always pushed it ahead of me. might as well start now. in my defence though, there is a saying. "once you go mac you never go back." and yeah, i've been neglecting my pc and my photoshop skills for quite a while now. while lol. havent used the damn thing for years...

Now...Hugh Laurie. Yes, is very much a "V'tosh ka'tur" kind of guy, with a thin, Vulcanoid face and (as Dr. House) an attitude of dry, snarky wit--Vulcan wit unleashed. Still...he kinda lacks the nobility needed in a starship captain. I would see him as a Lieutenant Commander, or something...probably in the medical department.

No, we haven't ruled out Kreuk...but I think I prefer Rachel Luttrell. Rushbo, your thoughts? I like JR Bourne as Valon, either that or James Marsters, those two seem to have the look I imagined.
I'd say Stebbings, Donovan, and Weaving (of course 
) are sufficiently "tough" looking...but Donovan seems a little "round-faced" for a Vulcan. The other three seem a bit too "youngish", IMHO...
(Basically...if you like Bourne or Marsters...we may need to "age" their pic a bit. They certainly have the thin, tough face, but still...kinda on the "youngish" side.)
As for the wife...well, the first three are all excellent. Nothing against Jewell...but she kinda lacks the "exotic" element absolutely essential to "obviously alien" women, in order to retain beauty with the makeup.

2382: Ezri and Julian meet again since Ezri left ds9 in... hmm. late 2378(?)
2384: Ezri Dax and Julian Bashir are married.
2385: Valon becomes XO of USS ? (something old... USS Hood perhaps?)
2390: Valon assumes command of previous ship.
2393: Sulira is born. Ezri and Julian die the same day. Almost simultaneously. Lieutanant Commander Perjon Tilven(?) receives the Dax symbiont two days later.
Benjamin L. Sisko and Kasidy Yates adopts Sulhira Tigan/Bashir (we gotta decide.)
2397: Valon marries Kelshayar Ratagar.
2400: Valon's previous ship decomissioned, he is assigned as CO to the Sovereign class USS Trafalgar. Ratagar assigned as Chief Engineer.

This way Dax is rogue for only 9 years and Valon is Captain of the Trafalgar for 14 years, not becoming a Captain quite so quickly.

BTW. maybe you should update the first post with relevant information as we go along. crew/cast, timeline ship specifications(writing them as we speak) and so on.

in case youre wondering what replicative torpedo launchers are. its a laucher with a replicator attached to it. replicative launchers = no reload time

Thanks for the tribute! Still...you might want to use the "standard" translation--in order to differentiate it from your universe enough, and to not make Valon look like an Ezri-centric like we are. 
On the other hand...it would be interesting to see Perjon's, or Sulira's, reaction....
