"The Naked Time" Line-by-Line

Hello, welcome!

We recently started and finished our "The High Ground" Line-by-Line over in the TNG forum!

After each completed thread, we're randomly picking someone who participated to choose the next episode we do. The lucky winner this time around was Orac! And Orac has chosen "The Naked Time" to be our next Line-by-Line challenge!

For any unfamiliar with our "game," you are asked to post only a single line (defined as one character speaking without interruption by another character) per message. You can post as often as you like, but someone else must post a line in between your posts.

Our "rule" is that if the episode has a "To Be Continued..." on the end, it is done in a single thread, but if it's just an arc of related episodes, each episode is a separate thread.

As before, at the conclusion of this thread, my Star Cadet, CoveTom :) will pick someone at random from among all the participants to choose the next episode we do.

Okay, lets see Sulu's mad fencing skills!

Captain's log: Our position, orbiting Psi 2000, an ancient world, now a frozen wasteland, about rip apart in its death throes. Our mission, pick up a scientific party below, observe the disintegration of the planet.

Spock and Tormolen beam into the control room of the base, wearing environmental suits.

TORMOLEN: Better look for yourself, Mister Spock. One man was taking a shower -- fully clothed.

(they split up, he takes off his glove to scratch his nose then puts it on the console. Something orange jumps onto his skin. Feeling the cold he puts the glove back on)

SPOCK: Be certain we expose ourselves to nothing. Spock here. Do you read, Enterprise?

[Captain's Log: Stardate 1704.2.]

The science party we were to have picked up has been found dead. Life support systems had been turned off. Station personnel; frozen to death. Conditions highly unusual. Meanwhile, we remain in orbit to complete our mission; close scientific measurement of the break-up of this planet.
