This list is probably the most fun to put together: my tribute to the biodiversity of Trek! A list of introductory appearances of the aliens that went on to become recurring or ongoing presences in the Trekverse (some of them much more prominently than others -- some of these we only see once, but hear more about beyond that appearance; I was basically looking for as many aliens as I could find that resonated beyond the confines of a single episode).
THE RULES. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. Below is a list of episodes and movies that introduce an array of different Star Trek species. Eliminate your FAVORITE or the one you deem the 'BEST.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed.
Leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.
A NOTE ON ELIMINATION CRITERIA: Feel free to eliminate based on your love of the aliens, the episode, or how the episode introduces the aliens -- technically we're eliminating the episode, but there's no "wrong" answer for how to frame what makes that episode your favorite, it can be just about the listed aliens.
No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode just because you feel it would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win.
In the 2019 Least Disliked games, this was run as "The Least Disliked Introduction Of Recurring Alien Antagonists" -- so it excluded all the friendly or ally species that are on this iteration of the list -- and the winner was the ROMULANS: "Balance Of Terror", TOS season 1.
