Season 1...
Winner - "The Serene Squall"
Runner up - "Spock Amok"

Season 2...
Winner - "Lost in Translation
Runner up - "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow"

"The Serene Squall" - 0
"Spock Amok" - 0
"Lost in Translation" - 0
"Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" - 0

Side note: if you are voting for either season 2 episode, please spoiler tag your reasons, as the season is still within the 6 months rule. Thank you.

Only two of these episodes I would consider 'weak', but even the performances make up for them. And the other two, I really like a lot. So flipping the coin.

"Spock Amok" gets my first vote. A really fun episode with great character beats.

"The Serene Squall" - 0
"Spock Amok" - 1
"Lost in Translation" - 0
"Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" - 0

I love Spock Amok too so that get's my vote. It was so much fun. :vulcan:

"The Serene Squall" - 0
"Lost in Translation" - 0
"Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" - 0

T&T&T gets my vote as I think it's the best remaining, simple as that. I don't fully remember Lost in Translation, which is a criticism in the excellent second season, while I thought The Serene Squall was noticeably the weakest episode in season 1.

"The Serene Squall" - 0
"Lost in Translation" - 0
"Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" - 1

I considered voting for "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" last round, so I'll follow through this time. Though the resolution is never in doubt, for obvious reasons, the tension is strongly played -- another "character is what you are in the dark" moment, as literally no one would ever know if our protagonist goes the other way And I quite like the character development for a regular who needed it. (Now let's get some for my girl Ortegas, pretty please?)

"The Serene Squall" - 0
"Lost in Translation" - 0
"Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" - 2

Wow, three whole threads focused on negativity? Cheer up guys.
I take it you didn't read any of the posts and just don't understand the title? The point is to talk about what you love.

I'll give my point to "Lost In Translation." I didn't love it the first time -- I think I was so hungry for more Pike material I was feeling "why spend all this time on Kirk?" -- but I really warmed up to it on repeat viewings. It's a fun little proto TOS adventure.

Also SNW has done such incredible things with Uhura, and I'm always happy for one of her episodes. She was my TOS favorite and I thought it was criminal she's the only TOS castmember not brought back by Berman Trek, so it's deeply satisfying to see the character finally given her due.

"The Serene Squall" - 0
"Lost in Translation" - 1
"Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" - 2

My vote this round goes to the one that is not weak by any means... "Lost in Translation".

I love the horror and creepy vibe. This was another great showcase for Uhura and how much Hemmer meant to her. (And me, honestly.)

And even though it was brief, it was good to see Hemmer again.

"The Serene Squall" - 0
"Lost in Translation" - 2
"Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" - 2

I'm voting for "T&T&T" for the same reason I did in the S2 round, and also the amusing little montage of La'an's security duties at the beginning of the episode (especially the bit with Pelia) and
Alternate Captain Spock owning that leather uniform. Rawr! :luvlove:

"The Serene Squall" - 0
"Lost in Translation" - 2
"Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" - 3

I'll save Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow because I enjoyed
La'an and Kirk's chemistry in this episode, throughout the season.

I also appreciated the mention of Carol Marcus later in the season as the season as the reason Kirk couldn't date La'an.

In do a 2 for 1 and vote for Lost in Translation because Celia Rose Gooding is brilliant as Uhura, and doesn't deserve to lose the contest. ;)

"The Serene Squall" - 0
"Lost in Translation" - 1

I'll do "Lost In Translation" again, same reasons.

I like "The Serene Squall" all right. It's weak spot is that the guest lead was so great at playing Dr. Aspen, and so bad at playing Captain Angel, so it's a deeply disappointing trade-down mid-episode. I have fun with the rest of it, though! I am such a fan of SNW's T'Pring/Spock/Chapel stuff, so all of that was a delight.

But "Lost In Translation" edges it out, it's just more solid overall.

"Lost in Translation" - 2

And "The Serene Squall" becomes our first winner for SNW.

This concludes the shows... now onto the last game, 'Most Disliked Movie'. I will start that thread in the Movies section of the site shortly. Hope to see everyone there!

Thank you all for playing.
