I disagree that there is nothing but 'bad' left. A lot of great. Like "SOLDIERS OF THE EMPIRE", my next save.

This was not just a great look inside the day to day on a Klingon ship, but a great look at Martok. Worf's gift of giving Martok his confidence back was awesome, and so in character.

Very underrated episode... the closest we got to STAR TREK: KLINGON.

Thigs Past is one I always enjoy being as it's a follow-up to the Terok Nor setting in Necessary Evil. It's an interesting use of Odo's transformation to make a problem happen.

Blaze of Glory ain't great, but I'll take it over the rest. A fitting end to Eddington's odd and convoluted journey.

Saving "EMPOK NOR". Very well directed, I love the creepy, horror vibe. And despite Garak not being himself, he still elevates automatically. (Which his actions are still explainable, as him being infected did this.)

Ties of Blood and Water brings back Ghemor as a fill-in father figure of Kira, and I think this is a lovely follow-up to Second Skin.

How is "Looking For Par'Mach" still here this close to the end? This ep is delightful! All the weird alien hook-ups are so fun. DS9 really struggled with anything sexual, this turned out to be the solution -- no human characters, alien sexuality only.

"THE DARKNESS AND THE LIGHT" is the one that still has something to make it interesting. The rest is just... blah!
Kira's terrorist past is catching up with her and maybe this isn't as black and white as she still seems to think. Were really all Cardassians legitimate targets? What about the children? Thanks to a previous episode we know there were Cardassian children on Bajor. Anyway, though I hate the pat conclusion I still think this episode is better than the other two.

I love A Simple Investigation and I'm surprised it made it to the last two. It's a romance of the week, done the right way. The chemistry between Odo and Arissa felt genuine, and the romance blossomed from Odo's investigation into just what the hell was going on.

Ferengi Love Songs is a terrible Ferengi episode, and is a waypoint for how low they would go in the future, and is the deserved winner of the season.

And "FERENGI LOVE SONGS" wins season 5.

I think this is the first time "LET HE WHO IS WITHOUT SIN..." didn't, which also means it will certainly not win for the series.
