My next choice may seem odd, but it's "RULES OF ENGAGEMENT".
First off, it's the first time the characters talk into the camera as if they were talking to us. Very nice touch that helps separate this from other courtroom dramas in the franchise.
Secondly, Sisko's command advice to Worf at the end is one of the reasons why Sisko is the best captain in the franchise.

Yes, when you compare this to TOS "Court Martial" in which Kirk is court martialed in a Starfleet court for the loss of Lt. Cdr. Finney, well, TOS comes out a distant second. 1. Burden of proof should have been on the investigators and prosecutors to show that Finney was actually dead. 2. What the heck kind of court are they running where the prosecutor can be an old flame of the defendant? 3. And where said old flame has a chat with the defendant about what kind of case she's going to make?
Though "CROSSFIRE" had a great Quark/Odo scene in his quarters, I'll save "RETURN TO GRACE".
First appearance of Damar, and Kira and Dukat episodes are always very entertaining. Plus, Shakaar is a little boring.
That makes "CROSSFIRE" the winner of season 4. (This also won the 2019 game, while "THE MUSE" won every other time.) I'll start season 5 sometime tomorrow. Hope to see everyone there.

I'm surprised that The Muse was saved, it's terrible. It's a shame Lwaxana's last appearance was in this.
I feel that Season 4 is such a strong season, I'm not surprised this has gone quickly. It's probably my favourite season of DS9. (Although I think "The Muse" is worse than "Crossfire". But hey, that's how the game works!)

~ Had it not been night here, I would have saved "The Muse" well before some of the others - Mainly for Lwaxana & Odo (hide & seek!
), but I rather like the Jake plot, too. Yes, it's a bit hokey, but we get to see Jake - not Jake & Sisko, or Jake & Nog - just Jake (even if he is being slowly killed by Meg Foster) 
Fair enough. Different strokes for different folks. 
It managed to find a fan, albeit one who only saved it for the B-plot.
Crossfire, for setting into motion the most meh DS9 ship aside from Ezri/Bashir, is a worthy winner.
Gotta agree. Not only is it a better episode, Crossfire is a better feature for the cast, especially Auberjonois and Shimmerman.
Probably. But the nature of this game is that an episode is not saved based on overall quality, but whether any person sees it was worth saving. That's how, in the TNG one we just finished, "Aquiel" (a merely below average episode) out-pointed stinkers like "Code of Honor".
Well, Code of Honor could have at least been redeemed by the foresight of casting and production. There were plenty of TNG episodes in which the crew took conceited view of less developed people. COH is notable among them because of the use of African American and references to African culture. Aquiel was bad from the core of the story.
Perhaps as a test, which episode would be better revisited by Lower Decks?
