Game The Most Disliked Bajoran Episode

Yeah, it was one I rewatched to see if it felt "Bajoran-y" enough, and I was kind of surprised it did. They go to Bajor, we meaningfully learn more about the situation there, Proka Migdal is a strong Bajoran character, Rugal is culturally Bajoran... the end of that episode is so crazy! Every time I watch it, it feels so obvious that they've actually made the case Rugal should remain on Bajor.

Even though there's no profit in saving this lace...

I will save "TIES OF BLOOD AND WATER".

Great Kira episode, and I always loved Ghemor. (I messaged Robert Hewitt Wolfe once on another site and told him how much I loved this and "HARD TIME", since he did the teleplays for both. He was very appreciative and gave me some personal insight on how he did this episode. Made it even more meaningful.)

But of course, we have no lace here, and therefore cannot profit on it...

"Resurrection" is one of DS9's better ROTW's (only topped by "Rejoined" and "The House Of Quark", maybe?)

"A Man Alone" gets a save. Given that DS9 was still working out its kinks that early, it was a pretty decent effort.

Some wear lace for fun, others for profit...

But I will save "THINGS PAST". Always fun to see Terok Nor days.

Even though it had no lace. Or profit.:hugegrin:

Strange Bedfellows has the awesome scene between Kira and Kai Winn when Winn seems genuinely repentant over having the Pah Wraith vision. Of course, she doesn't actually want to lose any of her power, and the idea of stepping down as Kai disgusts her.

I woke up surprised to see DS9 “Battle Lines” still here. I always thought this was a S1 highlight, and I loved the story for Opaka, which also paved the way for the entry of Kai Winn to be one of the nastiest villains ever

While lace may be profitable...

I am saving "THE BEGOTTEN". Because it was a great Odo episode.

Despite the fact profits in lace are down.

'Til Death Do Us Part was a good way of keeping the momentum going of the final arc. Not as strong as some of the others but still a vital cog.

Sisko marrying Kasidy is s nice moment after seasons of them together.

DS9 Season 2: "Sanctuary"
DS9 Season 2: "The Alternate"
DS9 Season 6: "The Reckoning"

None of those remaining episodes are particularly bad. But of them, I think "Sanctuary" is the one most worth saving. Especially these days, when we have so many refugees, fleeing the Talibun and the Russian army. The ending was tragic and thought-provoking.

Besides, it had Chekov's kid in it.

DS9 Season 2: "The Alternate"
DS9 Season 6: "The Reckoning"

My final vote for this game has nothing to do with profits, or lace...

Which is why I am saving "THE ALTERNATE".

While it is not a great episode, I absolutely HATE how "THE RECKONING" damages Sisko's character as a father. In that way, I find it more offensive than "PROFIT AND LACE".

"THE RECKONING" rightfully, as far as I'm concerned, wins.

(What's so hilarious is that I was saving "SANCTUARY" for the unique UT troubles just as TWO other people were saving it. lol)

I agree with the winner. The Alternate, whilst daft at times, has Odo's mentor in it, so I can't hate that episode.

The Reckoning seemed like it was going to be more like Rapture, but unfortunately, it's more like a B-movie at times.

It's more like TNG's Genesis, or VOY's Threshold. Switch your brain off for proper entertainment. ;)

The first time it aired, I was interested. But the moment Sisko decided not to use Dax's solution after he saw Jake possessed, I immediately started to hate it. It says something about an episode when Winn is the one who actually made a right call over our heroes.

I can defend "THRESHOLD" because it had good character beats for Paris, and the horror element was good. I can defend "Genesis" because of the horror elements, and the directing was marvelous.

I CANNOT defend "THE RECKONING" because of what it did to Sisko's character as a dad. It was one of the cornerstones of the entire show. In that regard, I find it appalingly worse than even "PROFIT AND LACE".

I don't get Winn's actions anyway. She had no reason to care about either Jake or Kira. It seems like she was being bad just for the sake of being bad.
