[Seven of Five]

Rocks and Shoals has the pretty terrifying idea of Kira just going to work every day in her little routine, trying not to upset the apple cart and have Bajor remain neutral. Vedek Yassim's arrival, saying that evil needs to be opposed, certainly stirs some frustration in the messy situation in Kira, but she isn't willing to do anything.

Then, of course, the ending, where Yaasim kills herself, is a very bold way to go, yet unfortunately appropriate. A shocking end, but it finally gets Resistance-Kira in action.

I keep thinking someone has already saved "Shakaar" and it has been erroneously left on the list, but no one has saved it. But the fact that I keep thinking that means I want to save it.

I looooooove how Kira smacks down Winn at the end of this one.

And I love how much big drama it spins out of a dispute over farming equipment.

Too bad the title character is so poorly cast! Though he comes off better here than he does in either of his subsequent appearances.

@Sakonna I saved the episode in the last contest.

I know it's not as strong as one or two of the other episodes in the Final Chapter, but I'm saving What You Leave Behind. It's so bittersweet, with many of the relationships we've enjoyed seeing over the seasons, being separated by the end of the episode.

The war ended triumphantly, and I loved the last get-together of the crew in Vic's to celebrate.

[Summer Solstice]

"Wrongs Darker Than Death Or Night" - I think this episode has a really powerful story. It has so much character development for Kira and this episode jumps out at me as being the point when Kira realises that the world isn't divided in to good and evil or them and us, it's far more complicated, it's a lot of people most of whom were just trying to survive or wanted their families to survive the occupation. It's also so tragic.

I'll go with The Changing Face of Evil because it really moved in the final; arc along briskly, with the Breen attacking Earth and destroying the Defiant. Winn killing Solbor was one of those moments where she moved deeper into the pro-Pah Wraith camp, now passed the point of no return.
