Gonna save DIS - “Such Sweet Sorrow”.
I haven’t rewatched it since it originally aired yet, so my opinion could change, but I have to say I throughly enjoyed the second season, and found this an exciting and satisfying finale —and indeed soft reboot! I fell in love with Anson Mount’s Pike (heck, I think fell in love with Anson Mount full stop) and Ethan Peck was a worthy successor to Leonard Nimoy (and IMO improvement to Zachary Quinto) as Spock. Oh, and I loved Number One too. By this point I’d also genuinely connected/bonded with most the DIS cast. I’m nevertheless glad the show has jumped ahead and disentangled itself from prequel territory, and it does so satisfactorily if a little clunkily. With a clean slate, I genuinely can’t wait for the next series.
TNG, Season 7: “Gambit"
VOY, Season 6 & 7: “Unimatrix Zero”
ENT, Season 1 & 2: “Shockwave”
ENT, Season 4: “Storm Front”
ENT, Season 4: “Demons/Terra Prime”
