I think it's a pretty bad restaurant that's way overpriced for what it delivers.

I went there once because someone gave my wife a gift card, and we were both pretty underwhelmed. Although it might just be that I was bitterly disappointed that you didn't get to dip bits of steak into cheese, just bread. And in the US I don't think fondue's been that big since the 1970s, though I think dipping anything in cheese makes it better. Just about, anyway.

I'm not into the entrees too much, but their dessert is incredible.

You've got a point there. I'm not into chocolate at all, but I can see how it'd be quite tasty.

See, I disagree. Think of Chicken Parmigiana or Fetucini Alfredo. Are they Italian or American?

Definitively American. There are no such things in Italy.

I don't know, France has it's good points, for a start, they're older than Germany and Italy , , I dunno, my point is, France would be fine (I think) if it let it's citizens do as they please instead of what the state pleases -- 'Being forced to by law, because it's unFrench to cover up your face'. - France seem silly to, about this;

"Please don't hide your face, your relgion is opressing you, be free, now take off the veil and comply to the law!" - That's not diverse.

^I think this is true beauty and Freedom, wearing what you want with out being forced to show your face -- Now that's diversity, being accepeted for who are, not being forced to do something because of what you are or what your wear.

The majority of the French citizens don't want to see full face veils. By banning them, the state is doing exactly what the citizens want. The laws are never made for the individuals but the majority.
I think this law is very anecdotic since no one discuss it anymore (no one cares anymore actually, if someone really ever cared ).
You're only basing your opinion on something very anecdotic.

Exactly, but then that would be them being more like us in the UK and where ever, and I fear, for the French, that's a step too far with out them losing national dignity.

I'm trying to figure out how age figures into this. Because by that logic, the United States don't look too good. I mean, the library I regularly use has existed longer as an institution than the USA. I fail to see how the age of a nation state is relevant in this debate.
