[Admiral Shran]

HUDSON [on monitor]: I don't think so, Ben.

 

[Enterprise1981]

DUKAT: He's getting away.

 

[LeadHead]

Sisko: You run now, I won't be able to protect you. Starfleet will hunt you down. You won't be safe anywhere, not even in the colonies.

 

[Enterprise1981]

HUDSON (on monitor): Don't be so sure. I have a lot of friends here. Besides, I've got to help the Maquis finish this thing.

 

[LeadHead]

Sisko: You'll be an outlaw, a hunted man!

 

[Admiral Shran]

HUDSON [on monitor]: Maybe.

 

[LeadHead]

Sisko: You're throwing away your entire life!

 

[Enterprise1981]

HUDSON (on monitor): And beginning a new one.

 

[LeadHead]

Dukat: What are you waiting for? He's helpless, finish him!

HUDSON (on monitor): I'm going to miss you, Ben. You've been a good friend.

Hudson cuts off transmission

Sisko: So have you.

 

[Admiral Shran]

DUKAT: NO! I thought you were strong, Commander. You're not. You're a fool. A sentimental fool.

 

[Enterprise1981]

DUKAT: No! (Sisko shoves him back into his seat) I thought you were strong, Commander. You're not. You're a fool. A sentimental fool.

 

[LeadHead]

Sisko: I said that I would stop the Maquis and I have. But I would not kill a good man for defending his home.

 

[Enterprise1981]

DUKAT: You disappoint me.

 

[LeadHead]

Sisko: Don't expect me to lose any sleep over it. Mister O'Brien, when you get the chance, I could use some help with these engines.

 

[Admiral Shran]

O'BRIEN [OC]: Yes, sir.

 

[LeadHead]

Back at DS9 Sisko sits quietly in his office, Kira enters.

Sisko: Commander, Gul Dukat has left the station.
