Best episode of the series.
Anyone seen 'Wages of Fear" or the remake 'Sorcerer' which flopped because it came out the same day as Star Wars ANH? Definitely the truck scenes were inspired by that and got vibes of Indiana Jones actions during the chase. Loved the tense scene with the imperial officer before blowing him away as if it were something out of Breaking Bad. Boba showing up and using the same sonic mine his father used against Obi Wan was the topping on the cake. I'm fairly quiet watching TV and movies but this I applauded, shouted, slapped my thigh and had my head in my hands staring wide eyed at the screen in amazement. This show is excellent.

Well, yes, he probably did.
Some may have survived being tossed off of the moving transport, but several were blown up with thermal detonators. All in all, they were standing in the way of their mission (severely hampering it/trying to blow them up) and had to be dealt with.

BTW, did the Imperial computer security seem really back asswards? It had store genetic data of people who SHOULDN'T be able to access it and flagged them... but it didn't actually store the genetic data of people who SHOULD access it?
Like wouldn't it have made more sense to have any imperial flagged as authorized with a sample than to rule out random rebels? Of course then it wouldn't have allowed Mando to use it :P
Yeah, I took as him starting to be a little less rigid on the Children of the Watch's creed, and also as a way of showing how far he is willing to go to rescue Grogu.
The lack of Grogu was pretty surprising, I kept expecting it to cut away and show us what was happening to him.
This was the weakest episode of the season so far, I enjoyed it, just not as much as previous episodes.
I'd give it a 9! I was quite entertained!
Burr wasn't an ass like his first appearance .. I expect him on the power rangers series with cara and fenic.
Some rules can be bent, others can be broken.. Or if you ain't cheating, your not trying hard enough!

I fully expected Mayfeld to stay with Mando’s growing “Magnificent Seven” to recover Grogu (he needs a shooter of his skill), but I’m pleased to see that this show continues to break many expectations.
Enfys Nest's Cloud Riders were considered terrorists and pirates out to wreak damage until she and they were revealed to be the earliest members of the Rebellion. But early in Solo there was no way to know for sure. They attacked a character we thought was a good guy(or mostly so) - Tobias Beckett - and tried to make off with the Imperial coaxium shipment on Vandor-1, almost killing Han, Chewbacca and Tobias in the process and actually killing Rio Durant.
Great episode. Loved the mess hall scene and we got to see Mando with his helmet off longer. I was surprised we didn't see Grogu at all though especially with how last week's episode ended. I'm hoping next week's finale is at least 50 minutes.
My issue is that the Empire didn't even put basic mechanical locks on the hatches for their trucks.
Seriously, no locks what so ever, all it takes is a stick to lever it open?
Even modern M1 Abrams have their Ammo Section designed to explode upwards away from the cabin to prevent damage to the crew in a worst case scenario, that's basic good engineering where you can easily design the doors to be the intentional weak point where a detonation would force the explosion upward, blowing the doors off the hinge and busting through any mechanical locking mechanism, thus insuring safety of crew and vehicle.
