I like how they snuck one of the Sequel Trilogy alien species(the Hassk) into the scrap metal salvage scene in the prison. The Hassk are one of my two favorite ST alien species.

That was not the case for season one.
Apparently the Empire is pretty lax with their troops and their personal appearance outside the helmet. You wouldn't think he'd pass imperial muster.

The only season 1 director that didn't work with Pedro Pascal was Bryce Howard.
IIRC, Pascal was not available at all for filming that episode with the ST-ST in season 1 due to obligations else where while it was filming. I think he was doing a play at the time?

Internet is going on about a stealth Poe cameo in the episode.
The only season one director who said publicly they didn't work with Pascal was Howard. We don't know about the other episodes, other than 1x08, obviously.
I saw this pointed out on the Battlefront modding discord, Boba is wearing his ESB jetpack in this episode, and you can see the damaged ROTJ one sitting in the background of one shot. He didn't just fix it up and paint it over.

It's nice to see that Boba's armor looking spiffy again. And this show has certainly given him more characterization than we ever got to see in the OT.
I just feel ripped off again by such a short episode... 38 minutes, 7 of which were re-cap and credits. I wish they would develop some longer stories.

It's in the end credits. They snuck Poe into some of the concept art that they used in the end of credits.
Maybe the facial scan was also in place originally to prevent clone troopers from accessing certain systems? They all had the same face. Also fits with Fett's comment about the system recognizing his face.
Fett's comments about the system recognizing his face are due to the fact that he has the same face as the entire clone army.
