Spoilers The Mandalorian season 2 discussion

If I recall, the book that's written from Luke's perspective on Galactic History, it says that Vos' fate was unknown, but Luke suspects he survived somehow.

Right, I have no idea what a Thrawn is, or where it was alluded to.

I believe "Thrawn" is what it's called when you are under the power of a superior being. Like a slave.

Ie. She was Dracula's thrawn.

You can also be under someone's thrawn, like they have mysterious (force like) abilities to make you do things you wouldn't normally do. Like the Jedi mind tricks!

Mainly misshapened is the only definition I can find.....are you thinking of being a "pawn"?

And when Yoda said “No, there is another”, he left out “And a handful of other memorable people just in hiding, we could try recruiting them too!”

suppose Yoda meant Grogu, not Leia? After all, she was an untrained adult like Luke, and they were lamenting the possible loss of Luke. Why go down that route again if they knew Grogu was hidden out there somewhere?

George Lucas is going back into Revenge of the Sith to add Grogu into the Order 66 section. He force chokes a clone trooper and steals his macarons.

I can't see that being the case since Grogu would still require significant training to be able to address Vader in any capacity, and Yoda was short on time, in a way. Though, perhaps he and Obi-Wan differed on the other in ESB.

I like to think that he survived Order 66, ultimately settled down and had a proper family, and then died at Vader's hand while managing to keep his wife/kid hidden from the Empire. Which would mean there is a Vos running around out there somewhere for somebody to play with later. Alas, I may be the only fan who would love to see that story.)

Vos is a character I can 100% see being still out there, somewhere. He was even more of a maverick and Anakin in some ways, and specialised in infiltrating the underworld. Indeed, I'd like to see a story of him running up against Maul and Crimson Dawn more than Vader.

As for a family; I don't know if there's enough time in the jump between the two halves of 'Dark Disciple' for this to be workable, but I kinda want this theoretical child of Vos to be Ventress's too. She deserves more of a legacy.

Just wondering is there any reason why Ahsoka Tano's "Head Tentacles" or "Lekku" would shrink/shorten compared to when we saw her in Clone Wars?

I know for practicle filming purposes, having shorter ones is easier for actress Rosario Dawson to move around.

But in-universe, is there a way to shorten it without getting the tentacles sliced off and naturally regenerated in a shorter tenatcle?

I kind of have this head canon notion (no pun intended) that Twi'Lek and Togruta lekku are a genetic adaptation to hot arid environments and function sort of like a camel's hump in that they store fatty tissue as reserve energy and moisture for lean times without impeding agility, but also like an elephant's ears in that they moderate body heat. (The idea of them containing brain matter just never sat right for me. Seems like too much mass and far too vulnerable.)

So, with that in mind I could see them "shrinking" if she'd been overexerting herself over an extended period. Not as bad a case as Beezer since she's otherwise healthy, but definitely cutting into her reserves.

Of course I also like to think these and many other "humans with make-up" type aliens are decedents of human colonists that used genetic engineering to adapt to alien environments way back in the days before hyper travel was a thing and they couldn't be too picky about where they settled.

You know the more I think about it, the more sad and lonely Grogu's life was even before he left the temple.
I mean think about it: most initiates are brought to the temple at only a few years old and are grouped into "clans" that act as class/family units until they pass their padawan trials and are apprenticed to a master.
But because the rate Grogu ages, he'd be constantly left behind as his clanmates age out, pass their trials, get knighted and even perhaps come back as masters to teach him.
So I'm thinking that precisely because of this he wasn't part of a clan at all and kept separate from the other youngling initiates. It would explain why Ahsoka didn't seem to know about him despite them both being raised in the temple at roughly the same time.
Sure, it's a big temple and not every initiate knew each other, but you'd think another of Yoda's species would sort of stand out from the crowd.

Also makes you wonder what Yoda's youth in the temple was like.
I just figured she had a small modification to avoid being found after finding out about Anakin.
That doesn't really track with her appearance in the coda.

It was really cold out?

I'm trying to think if there has been an on-screen adult Troguta depicted before. All the ones I can think of off the top of my head have been younger. Human ears get bigger as people age; maybe Truga tails get shorter?

Also, I seem to remember reading something once about lekku being connected to reproduction, but that was probably about Twi'leks.

Speaking of length, her shoto wasn't as - well - short as I would have expected. From some angles it looked the same as the other. But that's pretty nitpicky.

Shaak Ti.

She was an adult Jedi Knight as well as Master in the Prequel and Clone Wars Era. She was likely younger than Ahsoka is in The Mandalorian but still, she was a mature member of her species and played by an adult actress.
