I tend to avoid clicking on obvious bait, and especially anything with Ai thumbnails.
AI stuff sure I agree. But there are good channels with good content that use thumbnails like that because it’s the only way to survive

Likewise. Both for the principle of the matter, and to prevent the algorithm from flooding my recommendations with similar garbage.
There are plenty of channels out there that manage to not resort to either of those things, and I would prefer to reward that behavior than enable the alternative.
 
I watched a couple of historical videos and all of the images were obviously AI, but the information content was solid. However, after that my YouTube feed was flooded with stuff with lots of similar videos, including obvious AI garbage disguised as body cam footage.
