The movie had lots of action, and bits of it were funny. I enjoyed it.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie. I just wouldn’t pay to see it again.

That's the only way it can be played. They have Servers that run everything and your PC client connects to them.

I finally relented and paid to watch the streaming feed on Amazon Prime.

Was not the best movie, more like a collection of several decent episodes. I was fairly entertained. Personally, I think the script could have used one more polish pass. Grogu's inconsistent use of his force abilities was a bit glaring. One minute he's stuck in a bird cage and the next he's levitating a Hut? Really? Anyways, cute in parts, funny in others, overall decent action too. I was entertained; that's all I hoped for going in. 7/10

Hmm... I don't know the details, since I'm waiting for the movie to stream on Disney+, but I can imagine possible reasons why forcing open a locked cage surrounding oneself might be more difficult than lifting a hut. Depending on how securely the hut's walls or floor are attached to the ground, there might be less resistance to lifting it than there would be for forcing open a locked cage door. Perhaps his Force abilities are better at brute-force lifting than the fine control necessary to open a lock. And pushing outward on the cage might cause it to crumple around him, or something like that.

Of course, Force abilities have always been inconsistently portrayed franchise-wide. Characters in animated shows tend to display far more feats of extreme strength, levitation, and the like than you generally see in the live-action productions, or so it seems to me.

Still, the same principle applies -- it could well be easier to lever up a large object from a distance than it is to force one's way out of a locked cage without crushing oneself.

The whole "Size matters not" thing seems to imply that it's not a question of effort, that the Force isn't bound by normal physics the way more conventional methods of lifting would be. Perhaps it's more a matter of concentration. On Dagobah, Yoda was able to concentrate fully on lifting the X-wing. Fighting Dooku, his attention would've been more divided.

Grogu, as a child, would likely have a mind that is less able to concentrate. Distractions are many. Add to this decades of actively suppressing his Force powers out of fear following Order 66. Kid is a bundle of different traumas while still being basically a toddler. He progressed during this adventure, so he might be more capable going forwards in his use of the Force with his skills as a Mandalorian.
