Kirk: I've just lost a crewman, Mrs. Crater, I want to know what happened.

 

[CoveTom]

"NANCY": Well, I... I...

 

[LeadHead]

McCoy: Take it easy Nancy, just tell us what you know.

 

[CoveTom]

"NANCY": Well, I was just... I couldn't find Bob, and I was coming back. I crossed to your crewman. I wanted him to know I wasn't offended by the things he'd said. You remember. Then I.. Flips open communicator

Meanwhile high above the surface of M-113, we pan in towards the Enterprise's saucer. Cut to the Bridge and Spock sitting in the Captain's chair with Uhura approaching him.
