It certainly went somewhere. And then yeah, it went all over the place here. I thought the rapey fox guy was a setup for the villain they were hunting down next season, didn't expect it to play into the godseed power the way it did. I guess it was a good thing that she got her memories back after all, since she knew she may have the power to use the blade. And it makes sense since she was Jane Chatwin's wildcard this time around too. She was the difference.Much improved over the first handful of episodes.
It was even more shocking than the dean getting his eyes ripped out, etc. I wonder why Martin hated his sister so much? And that mess about Julia? Seems like they introduced several new plot points at the last minute. And freeing Victoria was anticlimactic - thanks and so long!
I may have to read the book now.
I do believe it was.Was that Ryan Robbins?

But holy crap, that has to be one of the most annoying cliffhangers of all time. What a horrible time to cut to credits.
Thanks so much for mentioning this Guy!Just to say this even more clearly.
If you watch this show via piracy, which of course, none of you do.
A flawed broken bad version of episode 13 was released that was missing the last 60 seconds, where Julia makes her deal.
If you saw the deal, you're fine, if you didn't see the deal, you have an incomplete/cropped story, so you'd best go looking for the missing section that you don't have.
Well, Julia was just severely traumatized after what happened with Reynard the Fox, and then found someone else who had been similarly traumatized who could help her get her revenge. I don't think it was the right thing to do, but from her perspective it was understandable. Thanks so much for mentioning this Guy!
I don't want to advocate piracy or anything, but my tv has been on the fritz for a while now, so I've been downloading, but the cable bill is paid in full, so I'm getting the shows I paid for. I suppose technically it might be wrong, but I'll admit that I sure don't feel guilty, and skipping the commercials is great.
Burned me on this episode though.
Okay, so after watching the actual ending now, I'll admit that at least this felt a bit more like a proper ending/cliffhanger. Not sure I liked it any better, but it was sure superior to ending mid-scene.
Actually, now that I think about it more, I don't think I like it. Julia had a chance to kill the beast, but let him live? WTF? Screw the end of the world, she just wants revenge? Not cool. I guess she was feeling a little left out on the every-single-character-is-a-horrible-person train, so they made her an asshole too.
I like this show, but I'd imagine that I'd really like it if the characters were actual decent people.
