A "wise" sidearm energy weapon once said (a page ago and this morning) that Journey to Babel was completely out of place in this list and muttered something about the ridiculous lack of Scotty. It probably should have added that while the Andorians are completely cool in every way, the Tellarites look ridiculous. JTB: I'm on to you.

I'd opt to boot Mirror, Mirror. The scenes with Mirror Kirk's girlfriend are pretty weak. We kinda just have to assume she's not very smart in order to buy her motivations.

Mmm, sorry, but as much as I love it, I'm going to have to whack "Mirror, Mirror." The other two just edge it out for me, with "Balance" introducing a memorable new adversary, and "Journey" including important insights into Spock's character. So, the final two are thus:
