The least disliked episode of ENT - Season Three

Twilight
Similitude
Proving Ground
Stratagem
Azati Prime
Damage
The Forgotten

If I am honest, I don't want to touch the list, moreover I would add The Council, E2 and Harbinger again. Well, it is not the game that we play. So, Countdown is counted out, they shouldn't kill Major Hayes! :wah:

"The Forgotten", because I keep forgetting what it is about and then I remember that it's about Trip's tantrums that undermines his captain's effort to save the Earth!! But hey we're supposed to be understanding, right? Trip said the stupidest things throughout the series, like the time when he said that he never understood train problems!! Really? You're supposed to be an ENGINEER!!! Here we have a delicate situation where Enterprise is obviously outgunned and outmatched in every way, so the only hope (and it's a small one at that) is diplomacy and that asshole keeps trying to undermine it.

I'll vote for Similitude now. A fine episode, it didn't stick with me like the others left.

Stratagem

"Azati Prime", possibly falling victim to it's previous successes in this game, which had me expecting something incredible. I just saw all of season 3 Enterprise for the first time last year, and was I ever underwhelmed when I got to this one. It's getting so much mileage out of bringing the crew to that hopeless, inescapable ending. And then next week... the inescapable situation just stops, and so they escape. Not really playing fair, from a storytelling perspective.

Twilight
Proving Ground
Stratagem
Damage

"Stratagem": because they ripped off not one but two Mission Impossible episodes, one that happens on a train that goes in a tunnel and the MI team make it seem like it's traveling a long distance and another on a submarine. Admittedly it must be easier to fake a trip on a submarine where you don't see much of what's outside than on a train!! Hours and hours of moving landscapes that you have to film in preparation!!!

Like Jolene Blalock I find Twilight is very unfair to T'Pol and the story was originally written for VOY.

"Proving Ground" is probably my favorite ep of the season, so that's great!

Well, honestly my highpoint is "Carpenter Street", but I know that it's not actually "good." But I love it's atmosphere, that whole 90's night city vibe is just to my taste.

Why is it unfair? She sacrifices her own life to tend to Archer. That's quite noble when you think of it.

I think all three (Archer, T'Pol, Trip, well maybe also Phlox) behave kind of creepy, but the worst figure is T'Pol. She is scientist, has experience with leading and diplomacy, operated as agent, traveled and served at space before Enterprise, all the skills that the humanity desperately needs at the final war, right? Well, she lost the last battle for Earth as a captain, then as a female she is good enough to play nanny twelve years for amnesiac Archer. OK, let me accept the gratitude thing. Then tells she to an amnesiac Archer that "Their relationship has evolved over the years." What? How can be things evolve if one side of relation forget them after hours? We are not sure what exactly but we can assume there is something going on. Probably, physical or only sentimental. In both cases we can call it abuse/misuse, since Archer is not mental healthy. Well, for a second we can change the gender. If, Archer did the same for an amnesiac T'Pol what would be our reaction? Huge discussion at the scale of sexual assault to rape and all the hate, right? Now, why we don't call T'Pol rapist/abuser? Even some people find it romantic, heroic, whatsoever what she "did" with Archer. It is embarrassing, imho.

I really , really love the AU stories also most of my favorite fanfiction are AU stories. So, for me Twilight had potential to be a great AU and dystopian saga, but I have my problems especially what they have done with T'Pol figure there.

"Azati Prime" should have retained it's crown
There are many episodes late in the season that are particularly good, but Azati is magnificent
What a tanking the ship takes

I was rooting for Damage, dealing with the aftermath of everything. I think that's another amazing episode.

I love Twilight, it's much better than E2, and placed better in the season. ;)

Azati Prime is a jewel, sadly it is eliminated. :weep:
Proving Ground is another jewel but not shinny as Azati Prime to present the season three, imho.

And I wouldn't change Damage for all seven seasons of VOY. I think everyone who had the misfortune to be a witness of war, lost in battlefield and stay alone behind the enemy front can understand what I mean.

As Kirk says in TSFS: "C'est la vie." ;)

You didn't read the book of Shatner and watch the docu either? Really? They both based on the SNL video.
Ohh, SNL video with subtitles, good old days with VHS-cassettes, of course I remember.
And you didn't get my joke, and nahh I won't tell. :guffaw:
