I can go for "A Moral Star, Part 2." It features a lot of the clanging serialized plot mechanics that were Prodigy's greatest weakness.

As sad as it was seeing Holo-Janeway's act in A Moral Star 2, there are stronger episodes left.

I haven't been playing for a bit for various reasons. With Prodigy, I found that the serialisation made it really difficult to pick out individual episodes as "good" or "bad" - they seemed to fold into each other. Having said that, I thought season 2 was the better.

I am going to opt for "A Moral Star" on the grounds I like the other episodes better. I didn't really like the killing of Drednok, and I find the Diviner (and the back story) a bit hard going. This removes Moral Star II

My vote in the next round is for "Terra Firma" which I felt was a bit "nothing". It's just there to drag out the chase.

"Ouroboros, Part II" The integration of the Romulan supernova is so jarring and poorly done. And also totally unnecessary.

It's also only there for the adults, and a total turn-off to kids (or at least the kids I watched it with), because it's so discordant from this show's narrative.

I wish this show had had a stronger hand on its tone.

I can only vote for "Ouroboros, Part II" until it's gone. It is sooooooooooo far below the other three.

There are a lot of reasons this show might have failed to stick the landing. But few of those reasons could have been stupider or more misguided than deciding to twist the finale into knots, in order to connect it to discordant plot points from a dark show for adults.

I'll go with Dream Catcher as well as the weakest episode remaining. That early in the run, they were still fiding their groove, especially compared to the remaining excellent episodes.

This is where it gets very hard indeed.


I liked Dal seeing his parents as what he desired most - and then realising that there was something wrong - but it did strike me as reminiscent of The Mirror of Erised. Overall I found season 1 more uneven than season 2 so Dream Catcher gets my vote and the axe

My vote in the next round goes to Into The Breach. There's nothing particularly wrong with this episode but it was a very contrived way of getting everyone back onto the Protostar and out into space again.
