Here we have the winners and runners-up of each season - so now it's time for the final part.

These are all excellent episodes. Very, very difficult to vote.

My vote for this round is, grudgingly, "Memento Mori". "Children of the Comet" is an even more classic STAR TREK story, "Charades" was just excellent all the way around, and "Under the Cloak of War" is going to be one of those that gets debated for a long time.

Easy for me... "Under The Cloak Of War"

This might be the only Star Trek episode I have ever said this of: the makeup ruined it! That forehead on the Klingon ambassador looked so terrible I literally could not get into the story. I kept realizing I had no idea what had occurred in the scene because I could only stare at that cheap spongy beanie.

It's really strange to me that terrible prosthetic makeup would be such a persistent weak spot of the modern era.

Tough choice.

I'll vote for Memento Mori, as I just like the others more, as Children of the Comet and Under the Cloak of War a Trek classics, and Charades is hilarious!

I am flummoxed that Charades made this list. I don't dislike it, but it's not even in the same ballpark as these other choices, in my opinion. Maybe it's because I find the Spock/T'Pring/Chapel thing kind of played-out, even though I love all those characters individually.

I reluctantly vote for "Charades". The stories of the other two are simply more classic. (These are all 10 out of 10 ranked episodes, so this is really difficult.)

Once again "Under The Cloak Of War." I really feel like this is an episode with all kinds of problems. The war flashbacks were really not needed, this is a much more compelling story if it was all present-tense.

I've returned from holiday to make my final vote for Charades. It's hilarious and well done, but Children of the Comet is more memorable.

Charades has "do not test me Kirk... I will break you!" and is hilarious, but I agree that Children of the Comet is more representative of Strange New Worlds.
