The least disliked episode 2021 - PIC Season One

The End Is the Beginning is out - this was the point I was starting to suspect that this series wasn't going to be what I'd hoped for.

Broken Pieces, I didn't really care about the season's plot anymore at that point. I just wanted the entire La Sirena crew to stay on Nepenthe for another episode.

It's getting tougher for me now. I like all of the episodes almost unconditionally. I'll go with "Broken Pieces" as well.

I'll go "Stardust City" again also.

I'll vote "Broken Pieces". I just like it a little less than the rest.

Stardust City Rag is next up. Icheb's horrible death isn't the reason, as Jeri Ryan was brilliant in those scenes. It was Maddox's murder at the hands of Jurati. I know it's explained later, but it still breaks the momentum on rewatch.

Understandable, Garrus. I think the Picard/Seven moment toward the end of the episode alone prevents me from voting it out yet, myself. I'll go with "Maps and Legends" this time. Solid all-around, with that one scene to boot, but not as great as the rest IMO.

I'll help to shove Stardust City Rag out the door - though you could throw any of these episodes other than the first two and Nepenthe into a Twain bag of That Don't Impress Me Much.

Stardust City Rag is out, Agnes murdering Maddox for no good reason was awful, he had done nothing wrong.

For the next round I vote The Impossible Box for giving the borg technology that allows them to drop drones into the middle of a city, that simply didn't make sense, they should be unstoppable with that. Saying it's reserved for the borg queen to escape made no sense, using it more widely wouldn't prevent the queen from using it to escape.

My vote this round goes to "The Impossible Box". The Borg having the spatial trajector technology made an already too formidable foe into something impossible to beat... so why did they never use it?

Absolute Candor - Elnor has to be the lamest Star Trek character in years and years.

Absolute Candor because, as was previously mentioned: Elnor. It was also the point of the season where the show took something of a dive for me before it picked up steam towards the end.

Absolute Candor - because of ice skating in the Borg cube.

Absolute Candor is gone. I quite liked Elnor's introduction here, but this is perhaps part four of episode one, similar to the problems I had with The End id the Beginning.

I'll go "Maps And Legends." I like it, but Laris's molecular reconstruction device is some of the most ridiculous magic tech they've ever introduced.
