The Kiss

There is more than one forum that this question could fall within.

Most times I see a lip kiss it seems totally fake to me. This is most often the case with black and white movies and such. Still, it happens very often nowadays. There has been more than one movie where I saw a couple having a "lip kiss" that seems totally unnatural.

There have been other times where I thought that a tongue(french kiss) was a bit too much.

Anyways, for the most part, I find "french" kisses to be most natural.

So, how do you feel?

Well, the worst/least-believable kisses in film/TV were in the era of the Hays Code, from the early '30s 'til the mid-to-late '60s. You might find "On Kissing: Travels in an Intimate Landscape" by Adrianne Blue an interesting read. Since I've never been kissed yet, I thought I'd check out a book all about kissing in order to better inform myself when I'm writing. I found it to be a VERY intriguing book indeed. There's a lot of interesting info in there about kissing in film and TV.
