Yeah, I'd agree with that, though it does depend on the actor they choose, but it'd be nice to have some fun Bond films again (and I say that as someone who lists Dalton and Craig as his two favourite Bonds)QFT.
Mind you, I'm not advocating full-on street-ready gondola, but there's a whole lot of welcome lightening up to be had that's well short of that.
I think TLD, at least, retains a good bit of fun, despite Dalton's more serious approach to the character. There's really no reason you have to go all farce or all tragedy.
