Steven Knight gave an interview with BBC4 where he said he's re-reading the Fleming novels for inspiration and looking for any lines or asides that point to an unseen adventure that he can use as a starting point.
Fun fact about Thunderball! We see our very first in-universe female Double-oh agent. I believe 009 in 1965 is a woman?
I think it's not 009, but rather 003.
Good catch! Yeah, it's 003 if they're all sitting in numbered order at M's briefing. 006 is bearded and resembles 1970s Ringo Starr.I think it's not 009, but rather 003.
As I've recently seen Eternity and Wuthering Heights I thought I'd give my thoughts on two of the (supposed) leading candidates. Obviously for all I know neither is in the running.
Calum Turner is ok, I don't quite see him as 007. the ears are very distracting! Then again Daniel wasn't the most conventionally handsome actor to play Bond and he worked out just fine.
Jacob Elordi on the other hand...damn I can so see it. I wasn't super sold on WH but he's very good in it. He's very brooding and intense, and at times I got a real Lazenby vibe from him in terms of how he looks. He's maybe a smidgen too young but by the time he played the part he'd likely be a few years older.
Did Judi Dench confirm from '95 on that she wasn't previously Bernard Lee? All things are possible in retconned speculative fictions.Me too. Recasting Bond and Moneypenny didn't also mean M was the same man from 1962 through 2002.

James...Theo James (Theme plays)Theo James is my pick. Because they'd never let Jack Bannon do it.

I would love Ahmed in the role but it'll never happen.I could even buy Amazon pulling a nod and wink and casting Riz Ahmed
Meaning?
